Beautiful mid-calf knee length, fit and flare orange floral dress has a large ruched trim in a horseshoe shape at the front to give the skirt extra body. In addition, the skirt is backed by non-adhesive vintage papery interfacing which makes it quite stiff. Closes with a zip in the back which does not open completely at the top. The fabric is a glossy polished cotton. Custom made dress, no labels - 1950s.

Condition

Good. The original zip has been replaced at some time and it now has a nylon zip. The side seams on the bodice have been let out. There is a patch beneath a small hole in the bodice and a number of marks on the skirt. None of these are noticeable, all being a rusty colour and blending in very nicely with the busy orange pattern.
